Extinct Species
December 10th 2008 09:01
Our world is believed to have been formed some 4.5 billion years ago and since then, many changes took place with in our precious Earth. So many different things have happened throughout its existence. It has seen some of the most extreme climatic conditions and then the breaking and shaping of continents, all this happened along side the different forms of life that also existed with this changing world.
Now we live in a much stable Earth but still it isn't what we feel and the Earth is continuously evolving at a constant pace, much too slow to noticeable. Like I said, many life forms existed in the ancient world that where adapted to the environment during that period but when the conditions changed they couldn't cope and became extinct.
There are many other animals that some how managed to compromise with the changing conditions and are still there but in a much evolved and advance form.
Here I will list three extinct animals that once existed:
1. Caspian Tiger
2. Quagga
3. Saber Tooth Tiger
I will be posting for info on these and some more species later on.
Just if you are curious, you can read here for a detailed article on Extinct Species.
